This page explains what information the Wattcraft website and game collect, and why.
The website
When you visit this site, Cloudflare processes request data such as your IP address, browser details and requested pages to deliver and protect the website. Google Analytics loads only after you allow it. Google then processes page visit and device or browser data to help us understand site usage. Your choice is saved in this browser and can be changed with “Analytics choices” in the footer. We do not use the website for advertising.
The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. We use this only to respond to you. Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions for abuse; Cloudflare Email Service sends the message to our support inbox. Do not put sensitive information in your message.
The game and your data
Wattcraft has no accounts, chat, ads or in-app purchases. It does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location. Saved grids and settings stay on your device, or in your browser’s storage for the web game; they are not uploaded to us.
When gameplay analytics is enabled in a distributed build, the game sends events to GameAnalytics to help us understand play and fix problems. These can include run starts and ends, construction, in-game map positions, milestones, blackouts, menu and settings choices, frame timing, fixed save/load error codes, device model, operating system and version, app version, language, session timing and identifiers provided to the SDK. GameAnalytics may derive approximate country from IP address. We do not add contact details, real-world location, saves or screenshots to these events. The game works offline; no analytics are sent while offline.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts and protects this site, checks contact-form submissions with Turnstile, and sends form messages through Email Service. Google Analytics measures website use only if you allow it. GameAnalytics processes gameplay events in builds with analytics enabled. Their own privacy policies explain their processing in more detail: Cloudflare, Google, and GameAnalytics.
Children
Wattcraft is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information through the contact form, contact us so we can address it.
Your choices and rights
You can contact us to ask about your messages or gameplay analytics associated with your device. Include your platform and the approximate date you played if asking about game events. Applicable privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct or delete data. Browser controls and privacy tools can limit website analytics; you can play the game offline without sending gameplay events.
Changes
We will update this page and its effective date when this policy changes.
